Opinion Story Art, WRKXFMLY sign-up, Reflection. Assigned 3/24, due 3/24 - Reflection = Minor grade

Welcome back!!

We have a couple of things we need to get done today.

First - I need to get access to your drawings you made for your Opinion Stories before break. Most of those stories have been edited and approved and are ready to be scheduled for publication.

OPINION STORY ART

When you initially completed those drawings, you were asked to share a screen shot on your Google Sites. Now I need access to the actual file. It should be either the .PNG or even better the .AI file. You should be able to find those somewhere on your desktop, or in a folder you made on your desktop. An alternative would be opening Adobe Illustrator and looking for recently used files and opening it there and saving it somewhere on your desktop.

Once you find the .PNG or .AI file, you will need to move the file to your Google Drive. Once you get the file into your Google Drive, you MUST share it so that Bowie High School can EDIT it.

Get a clickable link to that file and go back to your Google Site and make a new subpage called Opinion Story Art and share it with me AS A CLICKABLE LINK.

I will be checking this as you finish to make sure I can access them. I will come to you individually to make sure I have a link I can access. You can move on until I check in with you, but I need to make sure I can get to these files TODAY

Follow the instructions and create an account with Working Assumptions. You should use your personal email account when you create this accounts so AISD doesn't block anything AND you can access this in the future when you are no longer a student at Bowie.

Reflection

When you have finished the two assignments above, please create a new Google Site Subpage and call it Spring Break 2026 and answer the following question:

Describe a specific moment that happened during spring break that was special for you. Explain why it was that kind of moment and will be something you remember fondly in the future.

Please write at least 250-300 words about that specific moment. Don't do a big event thing, like I went to the beach, or I got to go to London. Pick a specific moment, describe it and explain why it was important to you.
