I wanted to follow up with all of you regarding your WRKxFMLY photos.
If you submitted photos, and you end up winning an award and want to collect your certificates and MONEY. You MUST follow-up this summer. I will not be there to remind you what to do.
If your photos are selected for an award and/or MONEY, you MUST do the paperwork they request from you. That means you will need to provide them a waiver for your own copyright work AND you must provide a model release for EVERY person in any photos you submitted. That means if you have a photo with your mom, your little sister and your brother, you must provide a model release for ALL three people.
How will you know if you won something? They will send you an email. You MUST check the email you used to enter the program. They will provide you the forms. You will need to PRINT THEM OUT, get them signed, and either take a photo or scan that document and upload it to their site. That means you will NEED to remember how to access WRKxFMLY. You might want to send yourself a link to the WRKxFMLY website so you can log in there.
I cannot help you this summer with any of the WRKxFMLY stuff. You have to be able to do this on your own.
