We have a few tasks today, so let's make sure we are rolling.
First - I need everyone to go to this sheet and put in your choices for Opinion Story #2 - this needs to be done ASAP FIRST THING
I will post your assignment here when I am done assigning them. I will do that in the next 30 minutes:
Second - You will have two classes to write this story - this class and next. Please make sure you are done with Opinion Story #1 and it is posted on your Google Site TODAY.
Third - Grades were posted last week and progress reports were issued. I am sure a bunch of you want to fix some grades. Here is what the grades mean:
News Story Docs:
50 = Link Not shared properly so I could not see the document at all. You need to share it so anyone at Bowie High School can Edit
70 = Link is shared so I could see the document, but you did not make me an editor. You will need to make me an editor.
MSG = no Doc on the Sheet I shared - Here is the link again: News Story Sheet
Ethics in the Media:
These were worth 33 points each. If you got less than a 70, it is because you didn't complete the assignment. Make sure you do THREE of these.

PND - I am still grading these but you will not get less than a 90 unless there is a major issue with length or some sort of weird issue. EVERYONE will have a chance to rewrite until they get at least a 90!!
OS#2 Brainstorm
MSG or a 50 = you did not give me 3 suggestions for opinion story ideas on the back. If you want to fix this grade, you will need to come get the paper from me and give me 3 suggestions. CAVEAT - you cannot use any of the ones I have give you as options - which makes this task much harder, but you can do it if you want.
